Akrivis Services

U.S.-side support for specialized electronics manufacturing equipment.

This page is not a duplicate of the homepage. It explains what Akrivis actually does for buyers: clarifying the application, coordinating with equipment manufacturers, managing quote details, and helping keep import, delivery, warranty, and support responsibilities from becoming vague after the purchase order is issued.

Where Akrivis fits in the buying process

Akrivis is not trying to be a generic catalog reseller. For high-reliability electronics, semiconductor packaging, RF/hybrid assembly, aerospace/defense, medical electronics, EMS, and R&D labs, the risk is often not just whether a machine exists. The risk is whether the quoted system fits the process window, whether the buyer understands what is included, and whether the manufacturer and customer stay aligned through delivery and startup.

1. Application review before quoting

We help frame the actual process requirement before pushing a machine name or price.

  • Residue, cleaning chemistry, DI water, and contamination-control requirements
  • Package style, lead geometry, pitch, trim/form/reconditioning needs
  • Wire bonding method, substrate/package constraints, and production volume
  • Thermal/vacuum process needs, temperature range, tooling, and utilities

2. Factory coordination and quote detail control

We push for quote clarity so the buyer is not left guessing what is included.

  • Configuration, options, tooling, lead time, and documentation follow-up
  • Clarification of installation, training, warranty, spares, and support path
  • Commercial quote review before customer commitment
  • Manufacturer communication when technical answers need escalation

3. Import, logistics, and delivery coordination

Capital equipment can fail commercially between factory shipment and plant receipt if responsibilities are not clear.

  • Shipment timing and freight communication
  • Commercial invoice, packing list, dimensions, weight, and crate information
  • Coordination around customs broker, duties, taxes, insurance, and delivery terms
  • Customer updates when logistics details change

Equipment areas we support

  • Vapor degreasing, PCB/SMT cleaning, micro-assembly cleaning, and DI-water support systems
  • Lead forming, lead cutting, trimming, and component reconditioning equipment
  • Component tinning and solderability-related process equipment
  • Manual and semi-automatic wire bonding equipment
  • Thermal plates, vacuum heating, and adjacent process equipment

What buyers should expect from us

  • A practical discussion of the process problem, not just a forwarded brochure
  • Clear separation between equipment price, installation, freight, duties, and taxes
  • Defined manufacturer warranty path and support responsibilities
  • Help identifying what must be confirmed before issuing a purchase order
  • Follow-up after delivery for documentation, spares, or factory support questions

What this service is not

We do not present every machine as a perfect fit, and we do not want customers buying equipment based only on a broad category description. If a process requires validation data, sample testing, exact chemistry compatibility, cleanliness targets, tooling drawings, or site-specific installation planning, those items should be identified before the order is treated as routine.
